Accurate record keeping of all income and cash expenditure
Maintaining petty cash system
Acting as a bank signatory
Maintaining staff rotas
Completing four-weekly payroll submission to payroll company
Tracking payments for memberships and events
Maintaining stock records
Ensuring stock invoices are correct before passing to treasurer
Ensuring daily bar paperwork and till log is completed by all staff
Overseeing club, pitch, bookings and events
Assistance in hiring staff and overseeing staff members
Providing an effective liaison between bar/kitchen colleagues and the committee
Liaison with treasurer regarding income/expenditure
Ensuring measures in place to promote a disciplined but harmonious working environment
Premises and Grounds Management
Ensuring the clubhouse is maintained in good working order, reporting maintenance needs to committee.
Ensuring the club house is clean and meets health, safety and security standards.
Ensuring audio and audio-visual equipment is in working order.
Maintaining the condition and acceptable wastage levels of wet stock and food
Overseeing event management
Keeping up to date with licensing legislation and liaising with authorities where necessary.
To work within all club policies with specific reference to the Health and Safety at Work Act, the food hygiene regulation and the weights and measures legislation.
Ensuring complaints are handled effectively and raised to the appropriate level where necessary.
Ordering bar and food stock.
